Warm greetings from Dubai

Hello there!

It's been a long time of no update indeed. So I finally was able to because of Christmas break. I've been really really busy with pure work since i got here and hardly got extra time. But i could slip to update one or two social websites.

So how was it you might wonder hmm
No cafe hoping if you ask me.
And venturing into the art industry is
A bit of a shocker now that everything has evolved or modernized. I still found that here is out of my comfort zone and that i really have to step up big time.

Been tough with all this culture and work shock but all has its ups and down or pros and cons.

I also found out more of myself here.
Of how it really is like working upfront
And facing real live action customers.
Totally different from just answering them by phone. And also having to deal with living under someone's  supervision and rules.

I think i was too naive and was too blinded or trusting but we all learn from our mistakes and for sure will be very very careful next time in making choices.  It all boils down in proper research and weighing.

This was an old post way back when I dunno why it got to the top I was only updating the labels.

Laundry bottle recycled to organizer (D.I.Y)

You can see alot of tutorials and DIY in youtube and facebook.

Reason why I dont throw away the big laundry bottles. Not only bec I am stingy but I like to tinker and paint if bored or art frenzied.

Sadly I dont have gesso (white primer). The acrylic paints and markers would have stayed well. Anyways I usually put satin varnish to seal the colors.

If you don't have the proper cutting materials it is hard to contour the curves using just a regular cutter. It shortened my blade and broke 2 times.
I cut my finger along the process too. Don't worry it was just a tiny scratch not life threatening. Not a kid friendly task if you ask me.

Usually you soften the edges by using a lighter. But I am not a smoker and the flatmate I usually borrow from is on vacation.

Probably first and last time I'm making this.
