First time commuting via E BIKE and buying dried fish in TABO AN

It has been probably almost 2 years since I was in the Philippines. So this E-bike thing is something new to me. This 2 back seater extension motorcycle is a little more expensive than the jeepneys but still if you need to go home badly this is still better than taxi.

Anyhoos now I went to the Tabo-an market to buy a colleagues' requested dried fish.
I was kind of shocked to know that 1 kl. of Danggit dried fish costs around 700php.

I only bought 300 worth as per budget given by my colleague.

Then I posted this on facebook and was even more shookt that 700 is even cheaper
at times it goes up 800 to 1000php.

This is absolutely not a poor man's fish. People making this as a business are making a fortune.
Imagine probably getting more than those nice smelling office workers whose basic rate per day is 500php. Im sure some of these fish market vendors either earn 1k-10k per day if lucky to get a sale from huge buyers/resellers.

Some people are cut out for business some people are satisfied with the office and minimum wage pay like I do at times.

What a day trip it was.
Keep safe everyone.
I went there before any lockdowns and reported cases in the Philippines.

Cebuano Traits

I was asked by one of my many cousins Kevin on a lunch discussion here in Dasma Cavite of how distinct we Cebuanos are from the other Filipino races. Well I guess to generalize it or something. I could only answer that we sound angry but we aren't, it is due to our dialect and how it is said or pronounced. And the rest were pure silence and me in a state of thinking... (damn i looked dumb there) (*_*)

it shocked me...

So I was restless for I wasn't able to say anything else of how distinct we might be. It made me realized and even ashamed of how I myself don't even know this by heart.
I could say it depends on where we live in... slum areas or in a better off life, downtown uptown thing. Coz I noticed that ones who lived a carefree life are more noisy, open and really talkative and ones who live a more stricter life is more detached, silent and careful. So asked dear google to answer this question for me and this is what I found.

Source: http://www.answers.com/Q/What_are_the_characteristics_of_a_cebuano

"Like most Filipinos, Bisaya are family oriented. They are a boisterous and gregarious lot who like happy times (beer ka day) and karaoke. They are also deeply religious, always have a feast for every saint in the calendar. They may look harmless but watch out! They are not scared to fight for what is their right and if anyone tramples with them and their family members, prepare to be called out for a fist fight. Bisaya are known for their bravery (remember Lapulapu?). When they talk, it comes out like they're angry or mad at something. It's just the intonation nothing to do with emotions. In fact, they are romantic, tender and very caring towards their loved ones."

I definitely nodded at this answer. Quite true and I do love karaokes whether in public or private areas if i know the song then no shame shall i sing it. Family oriented coz we do have lots of religious Fiesta and that calls for a lot of reunion gathering for many family and even friends if they're available. So that's that... we all are unique and we have all different talents and qualities. We just need to let all the positive trait out.
